My Story
I love for my house to smell good & I was the queen of traditional candles. I was an elementary school teacher of six years. In 2003, we had our first child. We knew that we wanted me to be able to stay at home with our new daughter. So, I did. In 2005, we had our second child. Now, fast forward to 2007 - I was a stay-at-home mom with our two young kids. I loved having my home smell fabulous, but now that my kids were more mobile the dangers of a traditional candle made me very uneasy - plus, my sister's friend's home had recently burned down from a candle that was left on while she went to the store. That year I was first introduced to Scentsy at the 2007 Western Idaho State Fair. I made my first purchase at a booth there and knew right away that I would be buying more! I tried similar products but nothing compared to the authentic Scentsy products I bought at the fair. While living in Boise, Idaho I continued buying Scentsy & fell in love with the product even more. I loved the quality and how safe it was. In August of 2009, my family and I moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho. As I began decorating our new home, I wanted several new Scentsy warmers. It was then that I started thinking about joining Scentsy. About that time a close friend of mine had begun to sell Scentsy. After talking the opportunity over with my sister and husband, I decided to contact my friend and sign-up to sell Scentsy. I became a consultant in October of 2009. I was so excited! My sister booked my first party and it went extremely well. In August 2011, I moved to Evans, Georgia where my business really grew. Scentsy is a consumable product that I do not have to convince anyone they need. I simply share how awesome my house smells – I rave about the scents I love – and people want the same! I loved sharing Scentsy for 5 years with the great people in the south. In the summer of 2016, my husband's job took us to Logan, Utah where I now spread the Scentsy love. I have been fortunate to earn some fabulous all expense paid trips with my husband through this great company - Caribbean, New York City & the Bahamas. What is my why ~ my family. Scentsy provides a way for me to stay at home and be there whenever my children need me, provides extra lessons for my children, trips for my family and more. I love what I do, my family loves it and I love the feeling every time I open my door to someone who makes the comment , "Your home always smells so good." Thanks Scentsy!
